Vincent Lecavalier

VincentLecavalier (born April 21, ) is a Canadian former professional ice hockeycentre currently working as a special advisor of hockey operations for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL).[1] He was selected first overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the NHL Entry Draft and was a member of their Stanley Cup championship team.
Lecavalier played seventeen seasons in the NHL between and and served as captain of the Lightning on two separate occasions (– and –) prior to being bought out following the –13 season and signing a 5-year, $ million deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.
He also previously played for the Los Angeles Kings.
Playing career
As a youth, Lecavalier played in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from the North Shore of Montreal.[2]
