    Malaysia Airlines Adds Boeing 737s To Kolkata And Resumes Uzbekistan Codeshare

    Last week, Malaysia Airlines announced it had reinstated its codeshare partnership with Uzbekistan Airways, the national carrier of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

    The codeshare will provide seamless connections between Malaysia and Uzbekistan and unlock new travel opportunities for passengers across Southeast Asia, Central Asia and beyond.

    New connections across the Asian continent

    Uzbekistan Airways is the nation's largest carrier with a fleet of more than 45 aircraft, including Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners, 767-300s, Airbus A320-200s, A320neos, A321neos, A330-200s, ATR72-600s and LET L-410 turboprops.

    Malaysia Airlines has a fleet of around 92 aircraft, including:

    • Airbus A330-200s, A330-300s and one A330neo,
    • Airbus A350-900s
    • Boeing 737-800s and 737 MAX 8s
    • ATR72-500s
